I have ordered on line for delivery. I have found the good really good. The delivery was prompt and the food was hot. Pleasantly surprised as most if the Indian takeaway in the area are not great. Both the mixed grill and chicken masala were freshly cooked and flavourful. Naan bread was delicious so was the paneer. Prices are on the expensive side but definitely worth it.
I was staying nearby and the aromas sucked me in to this brilliant Indian takeaway.
Whilst looking at the menu, the owner asked if I needed any help, so I decided to let him suggest something for me - he then began to cook the dish himself (a delicious, spicy lamb dish with courgettes). I was also given pappadums and chutney whilst I waited.
The food was delicious - it was a curry I hadn't had before and I loved every mouthful.
I love to use independent restaurants and takeaways, and when the service is this friendly and welcoming, all the better.
It's also great to see quality fresh ingredients and proper cooking.
Absolutely faultless experience.
Sadly I live nowhere near and was only in London for the cricket - but if I do ever find myself in Battersea again, I'll be visiting Holy Cow!
Very good food, very nice people. We will definitely come back if we ever travel to this area again :)
Sidenote for small eaters, the portion size is very generous.
